- Criticise a bad/good behavior of Koreans
I'm a Korean and I'm really proud of it. But sometimes I'm so ashamed of it. In my opinion, Koreans have a bad habit about public order. Forexaple, a person is throwing some gabage anywhere. When I see that situation I think that the person is really bad. However in an opposite case, I think It's okay because of me. I'm exceptional and if I disobey a rule, others will obey. So, Koreans have to recognize our bad habit, In addition to that, we have to change our bad minds and follow public order.
Neverheless, Koreans have a lot of good behavior, Koreans like unity. Forexample, in the 2002 world cup, we called 'Be the reds' ourselves. We showed real Korean unity. I think this behavior is a part of good things.
From now on, I will give effort in improving Korean good behavior. I want to be proud of Korean.
- Criticise Filipino Culture
When I chose to go to the Philippines to study, I just that the country is not as developed compared to my country and the people's skin is darker than ours. I was really sorry about that. Frankly speaking, It is true. However as time went by, I recognized the Philippine culture, people and thinking. Actually, they have really good personalities and they are kind. Forexample, one day I slipped on the street. That time, I was really embarrassed, but some Filipina helped me to get up easily. I really appreciate them until now.
However, I think that Filipinos are a little lasy. In my opinoin, because of the weather. As you already know, Philippine weather is really hot and sometimes, it rains. So people are always a little irritated. But it's just for some of them. Forexample, one time, when I took a taxi. we almost had an accident. The two drivers were really angry. They fought a lot. In addition, the weather was really hot. That argument was affected by the weather.
Anyway, now I can understand Filipino culture for the first time. Because I have lived with them and I think everyone is the same. So I like my tutors even if they're from another country and they have a different culture.
