April 19th  2007     I was shocked this afternoon while I was reading the accident at the Virginia University on the internet. The killer was Mr. Jo who had mental problems. He was an unlucky person who didn't adapt to the society. He killed 32 students that were innocent people. I'm really sorry about them being  killed. According to th news, Korea government wants to send a group of ministries for condolence. But I can't understand why they want to send a group of ministries. It is possible that Korean people who want to go there by themselves for condolence. In my opinion, this accident is different. Even though Mr.Jo was borned in Korea, he grew up in the U.S. since he was 13 years old and he has a citizenship of the U.S. He was just one of the Americans. So, this is a social problem of the U.S., it's not a matter of Korea government. Besides the news said that the U.S. government couldn't understand why Korean government poses the action. I can understand the situation of my government that they worry about their relationship with the U.S. But in this case, it's just like a slavish submission to power to the stronger country. So my government should stop it. Otherwise it will show a weak diplomacy like following a logic of power again.
